Tamara is a dedicated professional with strong organizational skills and a thoroughness that is key to assisting clients in reaching their life goals. In a supportive atmosphere, Tamara seeks to uncover their strengths and resources to provide a foundation for addressing the concerns they bring with them. She also utilizes many theoretical approaches including cognitive behavioral theory, crisis intervention, psycho-dynamic, psycho-educational and family systems theory. Her practice specialties include working with families, couples, and individuals addressing issues of depression, anxiety, grief and loss.

Tamara graduated with a master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University. In addition to her practice at Hendricks Therapy, she has considerable experience working with individuals with mental health issues resulting from acute and chronic health conditions. Mrs. Munoz was recently awarded the Anthem Angel; a joint effort through the Indianapolis Colts and Anthem Insurance organizations. It recognized Tamara for her community dedication and service including volunteer work with the Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Team of Greater Indianapolis.
