Erika Davis, MSW, LCSW

Erika earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Illinois State University in 2004 in Criminal Justice. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois in 2009. Erika is a Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Counselor (CSAYC), as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has completed TF-CBT training and has provided services through the Division of Mental Health and Addiction, Department of Children's Services, and the Juvenile Justice system.

Erika has 10 years of experience working with youth and families who may have needs related to Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety Disorders- including PTSD, Depression, ADHD, Self Harm, School/Academic related issues, and anger management. Erika also has experience working with individuals and families who have experienced different levels of trauma. Erika is credentialed to provide services to those youth who may have needs related to sexually maladaptive behaviors. Erika has provided individual, family and group therapy primarily within a school and community/home setting. Erika utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused/Trauma Informed Therapy,  Strengths Based and Motivational Interviewing as modes of therapy. She feels the most important part of treatment is to begin where the client is and build a strong rapport with all individuals and families.
