Deb Berkey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated with Highest Distinction in May 2006. Deb has over 25 years of experience in working with children, families, and individuals by providing support, problem-solving skills, and coping techniques to help them find satisfactory solutions for their concerns as they strive for personal growth and improved relationships. Deb has experience in assisting children and youth from preschool through high school in finding resolution to traumas by utilizing Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to address sexual abuse, exposure to domestic violence or other stressors. Deb works with individuals and families to improve communication and resolve anger issues, depression, and anxiety. Deb also has experience working with individuals and families impacted by cancer and other chronic illnesses. She utilizes CBT, TF-CBT, and Family Systems Theories, psychoeducation, and spiritual influences to help provide an understanding to current struggles.
