You will be responsible for various tasks, including the daily IT operations of four locations, and serve as the staff's primary point of contact. You will also collaborate with the company's IT vendor, who oversees networking and the management of our larger systems.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide ongoing IT server, software, and hardware support, updates, and maintenance in collaboration with Management.

  • Review and solve computer network and hardware issues and provide general support on user experience issues that require technical assistance.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to Management on operations to continually improve performance and efficiencies.

  • Act as an intermediary with vendors to set up, train, and implement Employee HR and other software systems.

  • Analyze and diagnose computer issues. Perform tests on computer equipment and applications when necessary.

  • Ensure updates and servicing for all peripherals and supplies are maintained.

  • Assist staff and provide technical support when needed on-premises and remotely.

  • Provide training to staff on new software programs or functions.

  • Manage Onboarding and Offboarding protocols for new or departing hires.

  • Assist in maintaining filing and project management systems.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for office maintenance and general needs.

  • Research and troubleshoot technology peripheral devices like printers, scanners, monitors, and telephones.

  • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled weekend/after-hours system maintenance and support when necessary.

  • Consult with all internal and external parties to create the best solutions that optimize business processes to maximize productivity and improve the end-user experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 2+ years of equivalent experience in a customer service or technical support role. We will consider candidates working toward achieving a degree or those without who possess aptitude and experience in working with technology. This role does not necessitate a high level of expertise.

  • Strong proficiency with Windows/PC and Microsoft 365 Office suite.

  • Experience with networking and Windows servers preferred, with support from our external IT vendor.

  • Working knowledge of backup solutions, hardware, and other networked equipment.

  • Experience managing external vendors preferred.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

PLUS, SKILLS: (Not Required)

  • SQL coding skills.
