Debbie Maxwell

MSW, LCSW

DANVILLE

“Success, for me, is when my client no longer needs my service.”

Debbie incorporates creative techniques into her eclectic yet supportive approaches to therapy. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families. Women’s issues, victims of abuse, and marital therapy are also predominant in her practice.

She received her psychology and social work degrees from Purdue University and Indiana University. Her experience includes inpatient and outpatient therapy, working with children and adolescents at Cummins Mental Health in Putnam County. In addition to working at Hendricks Therapy, Debbie has a private practice at Westside Christian Counseling Center (ministry of Westside Church of the Nazarene). She actively conducts seminars and retreats and volunteers with the local Girl Scouts. After 17 years in the mental health care field, Debbie finds joy in helping children, teens, and adults reach their potential in school, life, and relationships.
