LaDema Gallagher started her nursing career over 35 years ago after receiving a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Indiana University. She then became an Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse in 1988 working as a therapist until she transitioned into the prescriber role in 1996. LaDema has been board-certified since 1993.
LaDema’s experience is varied and includes work with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and Chemical Dependency. She values the benefit that comes from the combination of medication and therapy. Her goal is to help people live their fullest lives with the least amount of medication.
LaDema is a native Hoosier who has lived in Hendricks County for over 30 years. She currently works full-time at the VA hospital, where she serves the men and women who have recently returned from combat.
