Andy O’Neall, PSYD, HSPP

LAFAYETTE

Andy is deeply passionate about his family and home in his personal life. On evenings and weekends, he can be found in rural Indiana, pursuing his own approach to wellness. As a part-time subsistence farmer, he engages in farm and home projects that serve as a form of self-care and help him disconnect from the stresses of everyday life. These activities keep him grounded and guide him towards what he considers truly important in life.

As someone who values the importance of finding balance in his own life, it’s no surprise that Andy brings the same approach to his work as a psychologist. Andy’s clinical focus centers on exploring the diverse ways that people recover from stress, with a particular emphasis on how our thoughts can sometimes conflict with our priorities. This perspective is useful for improving overall functioning in both professional and personal domains.

Rather than solely focusing on diagnosis and pathology, Andy collaborates with clients to understand their unique struggles and works with them to find practical solutions. Through his clinical work, he facilitates subtle changes that help his clients shift their orientation towards themselves and their problems.

His clinical orientation includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Relationship Therapy, and Working with Trauma.

He is committed to making his work inclusive for all ways of being, supporting the values of each of his clients.
