Leann Sharp, MSN, CPNP-PC, PMHS, PMHNP-BC

Leann Sharp earned her RN in 1983 from Kaskaskia College in Centralia Illinois and has been an RN for 39 years. She went on to earn her Master’s as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Purdue in 2007 and later was Board Certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board after meeting specialty training requirements as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist in 2016. She returned to school last year and recently completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post Master’s Certificate from Purdue University. 

She has 15 years’ experience working with children and adolescents with special needs including behavioral, developmental, and/or mental health challenges. She provides medication management and treatment for ADHD, Autism, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, and more for children ages 3 to 17.

Leann has lived in 6 states and 2 countries. She enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and raising mason bees in her back yard. She has a 25-year-old daughter at home with special needs. Working to locate needed services for her own daughter initiated Leann’s desire to work in the field of child and adolescent behavioral, developmental, and mental health.
