Rebecca Childs is a highly empathetic therapist who is focused on providing clients with the tools to get from where they are to where they want to be, because “your past doesn’t have to determine your future.” Rebecca is committed to providing a safe space for client’s to explore their thoughts, feelings, and actions.

She provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She most commonly uses play therapies with younger clients and cognitive behavioral (CBT) and insight-oriented therapies with adults. Rebecca is also trained in Brainspotting, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Exposure Response Therapy (ERP).

She has a special interest in working with kids and teens, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, religion/spirituality, social discomfort, and life balance. Rebecca is a member of Star Behavioral Health Providers, having had specialized training in working with issues facing members of the military and their families.

Rebecca earned her Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Faith at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN. In addition to serving clients, Rebecca has worked as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech Community College, where she trained beginning counseling students. Rebecca is an avid pianist and can be found accompanying groups and soloists around Central Indiana.
