Kate Hawkey earned her Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington and her Master's in Social Work from IUPUI.

Kate has experience working with children and young adults from diverse backgrounds. She has provided support to children involved with child services and the criminal justice system, working with them in various environments such as homes, schools, and offices while addressing a wide range of mental health diagnoses.

Kate is passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths, achieve their life goals, and improve their well-being through empathetic support. She employs person-centered approaches, utilizing talk therapy techniques like cognitive-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. Kate takes immense satisfaction in fostering confidence, enhancing self-image, promoting independence, and supporting individuals in their journey towards improved mental health. Her goal is to assist you in alleviating your mental health symptoms.

In her free time, Kate enjoys gardening, tending to her house plants, and spending time with her family. Kate loves nurturing plants from seeds and nursing those in need of revival. Moreover, she enjoys the moments spent snuggling with her beloved pets.
