Leann Sharp earned her RN in 1983 from Kaskaskia College in Centralia, Illinois, and has been an RN for over 40 years. She earned her Master's degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2007 from Purdue University. In 2016, she became board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board after meeting specialty training requirements as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist. She completed a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner post-master's certificate from Purdue.

She has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults with special needs, including behavioral, developmental, and mental health challenges. She provides medication management and treatment for ADHD, Autism, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, and other mental health issues. Her office is a safe space for special needs, neurodivergent, and LGBTQAI2S+ patients and families.

Leann's passion for her work is deeply personal. Her daughter, who has special needs, has been a driving force in her career. Navigating services for her daughter ignited Leann's desire to work in the fields of child and adolescent behavioral, developmental, and mental health. Having lived in six states and two countries, she brings a broad perspective to her practice. Her hobbies of traveling, hiking, gardening, and raising mason bees reflect her love for nature and exploration.
